Q: What are the +X bonuses I see on creature profiles and eggs?
A: +Bonuses appear, randomly, on new creatures picked up from eggs in dungeons, or on monsters obtained through the Pal Egg Machine, Rare Egg Machine, or Premium Egg Machine. +Bonus eggs are designated with a '+' symbol and glow when they drop or are seen during evolution or through the egg machines. These +Bonuses can stack, thus you might notice one of your friends has a +20 creature. +Bonuses exist in three forms: bonuses to HP, ATK ( attack ), or RCV ( recovery ). A +1 HP bonus adds 10 HP, a +1 ATK bonus adds 5 ATK, and a +1 RCV bonus adds +3 RCV. A +Bonus is transferred from one creature to another automatically through power-up fusion. The full bonus is carried over. For example, if you fuse a creature with +4 into a creature with +2 the unconsumed creature will have +6. See ‘+Bonuses: Advice’ for suggestions on bonus distribution. Up to 99 +Bonuses can be applied to each HP, ATK, and RCV, for a total of +297.

Q: What is the most effective way to use +X creature bonuses?
A: You will encounter eggs and creatures with +bonuses as you collect creatures in Puzzle & Dragons. These bonuses should, when they appear on expendable creatures, be transferred to a creature that will benefit from the bonus using Power-up Fusion. Generally speaking, bonuses are best given to a team staple, such as Vampire Lord ( dark team ), Freyja or Ancient Dragon Knight ( wood team ), or Zeus.
Bonuses may also be used to enhance creature abilities. +RCV bonuses allow healers like Siren the Enchanter or Amaterasu Ohkami to recover more health ( for use with resolve teams do not provide healers with +HP eggs ). +ATK bonuses can be given to Neptune to increase poison damage. Providing +bonuses to a long-term team staple, however, is the generally suggested course of action.
Don't know who to give bonuses to? No need to decide now. Store them temporarily on a basic creature such as a Carbuncle up to +10 or +15 ( depending on box space ) and feed them to the desired creature down the road when you make a decision.
It should also be noted that the cost to fuse +egg creatures increases with the number of +'s already on the target creature. This means that it can get considerably expensive to fuse eggs one at a time. For this reason, it is beneficial to fuse them to an intermediary creature first and then to their ultimate destination. For further details, see +1 Bonuses: Fusion costs.

Q: Where can I get/farm +bonuses for creatures?
A: Generally speaking, the best place to farm +bonuses is the highest available normal dungeon you can complete that is currently benefiting from a x1.5 drop bonus. During the weekend the best rate for +bonuses comes from Ocean of Heaven - Sea God of Heaven. Normal dungeons cycle through the weekdays. Technical dungeons are also a good source for +bonuses though their drop rate isn’t comparable to normal dungeons without Monday’s bonus drop rate or a special event x5 +bonus drop rate. See the referenced link above for technical information.

The cost for fusing creatures with +1 bonuses on them rises directly proportional to the number of +'s the creature will have after fusion. The formula for calculating the cost is ((Sum total of all +bonuses) * 1000) + (Creature Lvl * 100) * #creatures with +bonuses applied. Creatures with no +bonus are fused at the regular rate: Creature Level * 10 per Creature.
Example: A Level 10 creature has +5 RCV applied. If you fuse 1 creature with +1 ATK to this creature the cost would be (5+1) * 1000 + 10*100 = 7000. If you fuse 2 creatures with +1 ATK to this creature the cost would be ((5+1+1) * 1000 + 10*100) * 2 = 16000. If you fuse 1 creature with +1 ATK and another creature with +0 bonuses, the cost would be (5+1) * 1000 + 10*100 + 10*100 = 8000. If you fuse 1 creature with +0 bonuses the cost would only be the level component which equates to: 10*100 = 1000.
