In normal dungeons, rare monsters have approximately a 2-5% drop rate based on player experience. The rate may be slightly higher for harder difficulty tiers. For end game bosses, the estimated drop chance per difficulty is: Mythical 100%, Legend 100% ( 40% If a Mythical Dungeon is available ), Master ~40%, Expert ~5%, Adept ~2%. |

Their attacks literally affect the background (Emperor and Zeromus after using Big Bang): Meh. Damage reduction (Gilgamesh and also debuts in Zhou Yu's dungeon): Simply put, spike teams will have a bit more trouble with these guys. Sephiroth users will have so much fun farming skill-ups here. Note: Zeromus' 36k damage attack is likely his infamous Big Bang. Think I just sucks at this game. Tried using Sakuya, Kali, and Ronia/Beel team but just keep dying every time. *Sigh Ronia/Beel gets me the farthest but healing back from Heartless Angel is hard. I've failed it w Athena, Wukong, & Pandora teams (any of these 3 usually wreck mythical collabs). There's practically no room to stall either. I swear, Zaerog Infinity felt easier. 0 Yes, it's extremely hard. My Pandora team is fully hypermaxed but even then there's very little room for mistakes. The first 5 floors hit for 15k-18k which makes it's quite dangerous to stall on. Zeromus has a 30k nuke so you should be ready to kill him before he uses it. Kefka's first form is the only safe spot you can stall on, I charge up my whole team there because while I usually do enough damage to his second form with full board change + orb enhance, it's good to have an extra set of orb changers to take out whatever is left in case I get orb trolled. Good thing he skips his turn when he's under 50%, because it happened several times now. 0 nturtle#21208 6 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) I was having a tough time of it, but switched to a Verdandi/Bastet team and breezed through it now every time. I usually use dark/devil teams but for some reason they just weren't working here. 0 Thanks for the advice, none of my teams are Hypemax (though they are all max skill, & Wukong team has 700 plus eggs w helper). My Pandora team would really benefit from some eggs, as my team hp is around 17000, so I'm usually one shot before reaching Kefka. I don't have a Verdandi or Awoken Bastet team (as several people have suggested), so that's out. I was thinking of trying an Awoken Hades team, but that may not work with the poison orbs Zeromus & Kefka creates. Ronias and Lubu hyper. Panda and Valk max skill. Damage reduction for most monsters, decent attack and good rcv. Once he casts haste, pop a ronia and whatever else to burn him out. I used a Ronia and got him dead without anything else. Fl2 - Whittle, get him to 35%, use Echidna if you run into a heart emergency. Burn 1 Ronia if need. Shouldn't need anything else. Fl3 - Stall point. Keep hearts flowing, and use Echidna when you run into a lack of hearts. Stall until all skills are up. Fl4 - Stall until Gh-gh-gh-gh, do as much damage as you can, then burn echidna and whittle down until 2 turns left, then Ronia. Should NOT need anything else. If you fubar, you have a second Ronia.= and one final turn. Fl5 - You SHOULD have gotten through this wihout using both Ronias. Use the second Ronia, then Ur, then Lu Bu, 1 shot. Stall if you have to. Be smart. Fl6 - Stall point. Easy stall. Get all skills, burn him with 1 ronia. Fl7 - Ronia, Minerva, Ur, LuBu, 1 shot. I plan on keeping her unevolved until I conquer Gaia Descended and Tengu Descended. I max-skilled ExDeath, his 1-turn delay and TPA seems useful, and his cool-down is the shortest among other FF bosses. I got 2-skill-levels left for The Emperor, who fills the water and dark attributes, and his S+ is valuable in a low-cost team. ... I really look forward to having a Judge Golem from PAD-BT collab, for filling-in the red and green colours. His finger and 35% damage reduction will be useful. It's not bad enough they don't give guaranteed drops, but they also might drop the egg you don't want. Also the skill up cards are all Enhance Material so you can't even use them for the skill if you don't have the REM card to skill up. I'm legitimately interested in the monsters from this collab, but not only there's this drop issue, they all need 10 skill ups to max skill. They are also taking away 2.5x skill up tomorrow. Pandora, Haku, Vamp, Snow White Valk, LuBu, Pandora.... Everything but my pandora was max skill, friends leader was hypermax... If you don't have a steady stream of 5 turn dark orbs, don't bother. Landing enough combos on the lower levels while you also hit 16x seems to be the biggest challenge. Don't screw up combos. Use suchi when needed early on, use Urd if desperate on 5 or if he survives initially and poisons you on 6 - and try to save one to OHKO on 7 with durga multiplier... Final stage: URD + Durga + 7+ combos with fire TPA(s) = OHKO... Sarasvati... a.Karin, Andromeda, Siegfried, Hatsume, Sarasvati... Max skill absotutely required, and use skills as needed. You are gong to need to find someplace you think you can take a hit along the way since everything doesn't perfectly stack to use a skill every turn... However, use the fast ones first, and get a turn reduction from karin so they are up for floor 6 and 7... Use sarasvati's increased drop active when you are going to take the hit, just on the off chance skyfall saves you. Use skills every turn, OHKO every level. Use andromeda to heal after you take a hit. This one is way more risky, but can be reliable if you have a max skill team and get a little luck with orb trolling... Everyone was max level and max skilled but the skill-ups might not be too important if you can stall appropriately on light/dark parts. My run times are ~15 min or so. -Awoken Neptune +297 -Permafrost Queen, Hera-Is -Psychopomp Commerce Deity, Hermes -Guiding Archangel, Gabriel -Awoken Zeus Mercury -Awoken Neptune +297 [Floor 1]: Stall until all skills are up and then kill normally. [Floor 2]: use Gabriel -> Hermes -> Neptune, match rows. If not dead, can stall for skills and kill normally. [Floor 3]: Use Zeus -> Hera-Is -> Neptune. Again, can stall if you made it into dark. [Floor 4]: Stall as long as you can in dark and then Gabriel -> Hermes -> Neptune. [Floor 5]: Use Zeus -> Hera-Is -> Neptune. If Zeus wasn't up yet, you can stall as long as Gilgamesh didn't show up. [Floor 6]: Stall for skills and kill normally. Seems like 1/3 or 1/4 times he invades the sword skillup will drop instead of the invade creature. In my extremely unscientific testing... 0 Yeah, 20% rate and 1/4 to 1/3 Masamune seems about right. Though if you look at it, NeoExdeath is the only monster from this dungeon that needs only 7 skill ups instead of 10, which sort of makes me think it should be 30% instead and I'm just being so unlucky with his invades. 0 By Salsiga#44654 6 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) Reliable team: Awoken Hades - Dark Valk - Panda - LuBu - Ronia - Ronia Around 10min. All Ult evos and max lvl. Ronias and Lubu hyper. Maybe not necessary but you need >18000 to tank Big Bang in floor 4. Panda and Valk max skill. Valk doesn't matter that much but its good to count on Panda's hearts. Damage reduction for most monsters, decent attack and good rcv. Plenty of places to stall. F1 Stall for all skills keeping him dark. When ready, hit hard to turn him light. He wastes a turn. Kill. Panda and/or Valk if necessary. F2 Ronia right away to take him down to dark. Combo and kill. No rush. F3 Kill normally. F4 Hit a few turns but keep it dark. Make sure you are at full health for the big bang. Ronia when close to 50% F5 Ronia F6 Stall for skills and kill normaly. F7 Ronia, Hades, Ronia+Lubu. (I encountered Gilgamesh a couple of times and I had no problem) Edit: Been using Belze instead of Valk. Works well too. Kali was for her TPA's. No LKali, use Elia. SunQuan can be any Healer attack boost, like Arcline, but the delay is nice for certain bosses like Gilgamesh. And Dizzy was precaution if I would get a beating, but another healer like Kushi could be better. Because the position of your monsters determines which elemental damage is done first, I would like to know what is the optimal ordering of one's team or if it matters at all. For the purpose of this hypothetical, I'll reduce the actual numbers by a factor of 100,000 and round down to the nearest integer so that Kefka has 39 hp. Let's say my team consists of a monster of each color in this order (red, light, green, dark, blue) and my friend's monster is red. Each monster does 6 damage when it attacks before elemental weakness or resistances are included. For the purpose of this example, let's ignore things such as bonus combo damage. I would like to know exactly when Kefka changes attributes and if this affects the damage done to him. Recall that the order damage is done to the enemy is based on the main attribute of your monsters from right to left and the order of our team is Red, Light, Green, Dark, Blue, Red. Case 1: Boss attirbute changes after damage is done and the turn is over. Before he changes element to fire, an attack by the whole team would do 6+(6*2*0.5)+6+(6*0.5)+6+6 = 33 damage because Kefka has a permanent 50% resistance to light and dark as well as an initial weakness to light damage. Kefka then changes attribute to red. In this case, team order really doesn't matter. Case 2: Boss attribute changes as soon as HP<50%. An attack by the whole team will now do 6+(6*2*0.5)+6+(6*0.5)+(6*2)+6 = 39 damage, thus one-shotting him. This happened because Kefka changed to red after our dark monster attacked, after which our blue monster's damage was doubled. If case 2 is true, then the order of your monsters matters and should be taken into account before you enter a dungeon similar to this one. It could be the difference between winning and losing for a spike team. The problem is that this page is not accurate when it comes to Kefka. Unlike the others, Kefka has a three-way split between drops right now: Kefka himself, Terra's Enhancer, AND Tifa's Leather Glove. So you CAN currently get NA Tifa skillups, but be aware that you have 33.33% chance of getting a Leather Glove. I wish my fellow Tifa holders the best of luck in skilling her up with gloves instead of Shynpys.
