In normal dungeons, rare monsters have approximately a 2-5% drop rate based on player experience. The rate may be slightly higher for harder difficulty tiers. For end game bosses, the estimated drop chance per difficulty is: Mythical 100%, Legend 100% ( 40% If a Mythical Dungeon is available ), Master ~40%, Expert ~5%, Adept ~2%. |

1 By CatsemanSA#23414 7 years ago ( 6.3.1 ) If you're going balls out with a double robin or Anubis or kush build, wouldn't it make sense to just go for the mythical? 1 Tsubasa#26272 7 years ago ( 6.4.2 ) Depends, if your orb manipulation skills are high enough to make 10x combos every turn that would be ideal, but for those who don't have the skills its nice to have a tanky Anubis team that can last one or two hits from the enemies. 1 Bibbo#14085 7 years ago ( 6.4.2 ) Beat this, got the drop luckily. It's worth doing Legend because so much luck is involved (went with Robin/Kushinada spike team) and you will be taking hits. The enemies do less damage on Legend, giving you more chances to survive, which I used to heal on every wave except for Wave 1, which more or less requires an instant one-shot. I only had to spend one stone on the boss. SNAPPY - you can improve your chances of getting big combos by going for cascades or delayed matches, the more orbs fall the greater the chance you'll get a lucky skydrop match. It's more difficult to setup and visualize than normal matching though. 0 intersted in your "orb manipulation skills" comment. is there a way to manipulate the orbs so they fall down in a certain order, making more combos, or is it random? 1 By bobert#26962 7 years ago ( 6.4.2 ) FYI ... The double lucifer build is a terrible idea in this dungeon per Okgav's suggestion. 1 By Greg!#39904 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 ) Beat this with my alternate account using an incredibly underdeveloped Supergirl team (Supergirl wasn't even evolved). Leader: Supergirl (level 24, not evolved) Subs: Sun Wukong (lvl 33, evolved, no awoken skills) Aldebaran (lvl 6, no awoken skills) Great Valkyrie (lvl 27) Keeper of Gold Friend leader: Ultimate Kushinada Only used Valkyrie's skill once. Supergirl kicks this dungeon's butt really well. My first cleared descend on my alternate account. 0 god of war#30992 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 ) I did it with heart breakers build and it was easy next time this dungeon comes around ill have my Supergirl evolved and max skilled subs to go Mythical. 1 By ecwstar#79586 6 years ago ( 8.4.1 ) This is insane, I ran this on legend 9 times and got 0 drops. I had to risk running it on mythical to finally get the boss. Beat it with A. shiva, enchida, gigas (not good with helper but whatever), king baddie, urd, gadius. 1 By TMNZB#69697 5 years ago ( 8.6.2 ) 0 By Mourn#27205 7 years ago ( 6.3.0 ) This one must be less than 40% drop. I cleared it today (2/16/2014) 5 times like the other guy and only got treasure boxes. Guess I'll have to try Mythical next time it is around. 0 Soleilgran#22036 7 years ago ( 6.4.3 ) lol its luck i did it once got it, i did heracles 9times no luck 0 By foroseven6#32044 7 years ago ( 6.4.5 ) Easy victory with: (L)War deity ares Rebel luci Awoken Hera Awoken Hera Enchantress siren (L) rebel luci Will have over 45k survive any atk. F1 kill with combos with fire and water F2 max all skill and kill normally F3 kill normally but save hearts or red orbs in case both leads are binded. Either way u should be able to heal back to max F4 use both Hera skills and ms light demon then other with next ms. If not sync kill ms with lower counter. F5 gravity x2. And max skill Hera. Hit normally and us grave when close to 25%. When boss has two turns to atk gravity x2 and ms. Heal ms and hope for egg. With over 45k hp. Must have 2x grav ready if accidently if boss goes over 25%. Got lucky with 3 eggs in a row. GL 0 dragonking#63086 7 years ago ( 7.2.2 ) Thank you for the info. I've played for a month and Rebel Luci team is all I have ATM. I'm so happy this build worked for this one since Take is pretty awesome. I cleared twice and got 1 drop. However, I don't think you need >45k HP ( I didn't ). F1-F4 clear as you said. F5 just need 3 grav to get her HP to 110k or so and stall to charge skills. Then grav x2 + ms x2 to finish the job. Happy Holidays! 0 By Guest#46331 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) The damage for leilan's southern seven-star formation is wrong. She hits for 37k each turn and I was playing legend I still won though just thought you guys should know Last edited by N/A 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) 0 By Kreationz#13941 7 years ago ( 6.4.2 ) Cleared twice today. First time cost me a stone. 2nd time, no stone and neither time got a single drop... not even a ninja. :( 0 By Bryggyth#9817 7 years ago ( 6.4.2 ) It is weird, whenever I get to the fourth floor with the protection demons I believe it gliches. I pick up an orb to move around and see the others, but as soon as I begin to move it the game acts as if I moved the orb, dropped it, and picked it back up. I lose one of the two turns I have to kill them with my spike damage team and cannot do enough damage to kill either of them. This has happened both on this level and on Izanami desended, and I am not sure why. It has happened 4 times and counting... 0 By Thiridian#30200 7 years ago ( 6.4.3 ) Just a tip that I do I want to add: For Round 2 you can pull off a mini-change the world by doing the following: Move one orb at a time and being careful NOT to make matches until you've planned your path out.. I use this consistently, it helps every time! Kano: Happily Smiling, as you prepare up a massive combo... how nice of her!:) Last edited by Thiridian 7 years ago ( 6.4.3 ) 0 By Juan Pablo#45551 7 years ago ( 6.4.5 ) Woot, first time finish on Legend netted me a Shugen Demon, Jyaki and a Takeminakata! I got really lucky. Team consisted of Valk (lvl 58, Full Awake, Skill lvl 4), Echind (lvl 54), Siren (lvl 55, Max skill), King Shynee, Red Giant Gigas (lvl 54). Friend: Max Lvl Valk, full awake, max skills. Gigas was used solely to keep HP 12k+. First level, sweep. Second level, sweep. Third level, skill up. 4th, use Echid. if necessary to stall and sweep. 5th level, you can survive as long as you have 12k+ HP. Get her down to 25%, pop King Shynee and blast away. 0 By thanos#39581 7 years ago ( 6.4.5 ) Very easy with a valk team and Kushinada friend. Use echidna to delay for shynee and blow boss away! My team: Valk ult evolved. light metra, echidna ult evo, Siren Ult evo and Kushinada friend, all over lvl 50 and valk with almost +100 0 By Dante#42410 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) I'm not lucky not even one drop, after so many tries. :( Last edited by Dante 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) 0 By Fat_Moist#34531 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) My luck has been so bad today. I did a 15 egg pull on the pal egg machine during an event and got nothing. I did takaminikata descended ten times, use almost all my stone and she did not drop once. I tryed to beat endless corridors with a super slow double Odin build and after about 2 hours of trying I was about to beat zeus when suddenly my game lagged and I lost. Hopefully tommorow will be better. 0 By god of war#30992 7 years ago ( 7.1.2 ) I used doble Lunar corona haku leaders ,gigas the great, duke vamp,CLM Echidna and blast aurora dragon.Easily cleared this 4 times no drop. And is there other ord restricted descend dungeon? 0 By Eric#25235 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 ) If I were to use Kushinada's Skill, would I use it F4 or F5? Thank you!! 0 Kustom3y3z#21314 7 years ago ( 7.2.2 ) I use it on floor 4, but I run an anubis/kushinada team. If you can take a hit on floor 4, save it for floor 5. But on low HP teams, you need to use it on floor 4 in order to take the first hit. 0 By rccab#57109 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 ) Used bacon's variation of a lucifer team replacing sieg for vampire and it actually worked! She actually dropped. 0 By Faeryll#59803 6 years ago ( 7.3.0 ) Gold egg on second Legend run! :D This dungeon was crazy easy with a double DQXQ team. You are pretty much guaranteed to activate her, and get a ton of skyfall combos also. I got a butt ton of lucky skyfalls after a solid first combo on my second run, OHKO'd boss. Rest of team was CLM Echinda, SLW Odin, TS Chester, and B. Valk. Only off-color was Odin, but he was there for stats and 2k autoheal. 0 By Magius#57315 6 years ago ( 7.3.0 ) did it three times, first time fail due to not checking how much the ninjas hit. Clear the next 2 times without much issue. Still no drop. Bu I got the green jewel, so I have that going for me, which is nice. 0 By BioCryo#48810 6 years ago ( 7.3.0 ) Umm...... first try on this and all this happened. Ronia | B/D Vamp | Lu Bu | King Baddie | Belial | Friend Ronia HP: >14000 Lvls: Max/35/58/22/83/Max Fl1: One shot ninjas no problem Fl2: Got two orb moves in and skyfall gave me three blues in a row, next turn one shot with an 11 combo..... Fl3: Accidentally got an 18 combo.... thanks skyfall Fl4: No skills... Vamp up 2nd turn... used Vamp, oneshot with dark row & combos Fl5: No skills... Lubu up next turn, Baddie and Belial up turn after, Ronia up turn after, if I let her hit me on fourth turn Im dead.... Ronia was up last second, used LuBu and Belial to get close to 50% and finished with Ronia & Baddie... Golden Egg first try... 0 By Rejuzi#58149 6 years ago ( 7.3.0 ) Double Amenouzume team tore through this dungeon! Did 2.5+ mil on first hit alone to Takeminakata. Here's the line up: IDG Amen - L53 max awoke (3.5x OHKO sweep until boss) HNSC Hera - L40 max awoke (unneeded except for the fire attack) PK Homura - L30 1 awoke (stalled on F4 to get skill ready) Freyr, tGoV - L31 (unneeded except for the fire attack) F Tyrannos - L99 (unneeded except for the fire attack) IDG Amen - L91 max awoke (3.5x for total of 12.25x) Amenouzumes are core. Homura is recommended as F5 tried to fire troll me - Homura said no thank you to that. Hera, Freyr, and Tyrannos are all replaceable with units that deal high fire damage. No drop count: 2 (dropped on try #3) Last edited by Rejuzi 6 years ago ( 7.3.0 ) 0 By terminalx#65257 6 years ago ( 7.3.0 ) I failed miserably last time around, but im thinking Survivor of krypton, Supergirl -lvl 80 max awk War deity of fury, Ares -lvl 58 max awk or Apollo max awk lvl 42 or maxed Bao Grundy King of atlantis, Aquaman -lvl 91 max awk Gigas the great - lvl 40 max skill, no awk Arcane Monarch, Vampire Duke -lvl 71 max awk, lvl 4 skill (8 turns) Ares is in for extra fire and dark, but would be only half useful w/o Duke Forgot to add friend leader is mostly likely gonna be super girl or any good card with nice rcv and combo. EDIT I beat the breaks off takeminekata with that team when the dungeon was here last time and he dropped. Last edited by terminalx 6 years ago ( 7.5 ) 0 By epharian#68164 6 years ago ( 7.8.1 ) Finally beat this with a fairly standard XQ build (I love the extra HP from the new UEVO): XQ (DQXQ would work, but the extra HP is nice) Crimson LOtus thingy Echidna L Kali (new UEVO) Kushi (max level) arcane monarch vamp XQ friend. Around 20k hp, nuke everything...no stalling needed. L. Kali & Vamp give dark orbs, Kali gives green. If Kushi is up and boss isn't losing fast enough, you can use to tank a hit. Echidna probably best replaced with something else, as boss is immune to status effects. Maybe some sort of nuke or stat stick. I'd go with Mamiya now that I've got her healing awoken unlocked. 0 By Trap@PF#74763 6 years ago ( 7.8.1 ) Easily done with DQXQ, Echidna, SQ, LKali, B/B Isis, DQ friend. Echidna and Isis were max level, Kali and DQXQ were level 40, and SQ was level 6. Friend DQ was max level max awoken. Burst everything, and don't forget TPAs. Skills are unnecessary, although SQ helps finish Take in time if you manage to get him up. I figured out the hard way that trying to stall on Kano was a stupid idea for an underleveled team like mine. One skyfall (which is pretty common in a tricolor dungeon) can screw up your whole run unless you can one-shot her from basically full health. EDIT: If you really need to, you can pretty easily stall on Take himself as long as you keep him above 75%. This is a nice way to get SQ up for an easier kill. Last edited by Trap@PF 6 years ago ( 7.8.1 ) 0 By King Spin#75660 6 years ago ( 7.8.1 ) First ever descend win, no drop, but still feel good. This dungeon was surprisingly easy to beat with the following team: Leader: Sacred Divine Flower, Xiao Qiao (Level 36, Fully Awakened) Subs: War Deity of the Magic Spear, Odin (Max Level, Fully Awakened) Holy Thunderdragon Indra (Max Level, Fully Awakened) Divine Harbinger Suzaka, Leilan (Max Level, Fully Awakened) Eight-Headed Dragon God, Viper Orochi (Max Level, Fully Awakened) Friend: Guardian of the Sacred City, Athena (Max Level, Fully Awakened w/ Latent Awakening) Takeminakata dropped for me, too, on the first try. Yay! Last edited by KadySaurus 6 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) 0 By Metrinome#80316 6 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) I'm not sure how to build for this dungeon. Anyone have suggestions based on what I have? www.puzzledragonx.com/en/profile.asp?u=80316 EDIT: Nvm, I have a Bastet team now that I think can take this dungeon with not too much effort. EDIT: Uh oh, didn't realize this is a tricolor without green. I'll have to re-think how to do this. Last edited by Metrinome 6 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) 0 Guest#79543 5 years ago ( 8.6.2 ) You have a Lance Destroying Odin. Fully awaken him and use him as a leader. Subs should have at least a God or Fire type so he can increase their attack strength. You should also evolve and awaken some healers, like that Siren. Get at least one nuke like the Morningstar or Gravity. You've got a Minerva?! Ultimate evolve her to Awoken Minerva and awaken her. As a leader, she WILL tank most of this dungeon boss' attacks. And she'll defiantly increase your fire and dragon types. Last edited by N/A 5 years ago ( 8.6.2 ) 0 By Guest#79543 5 years ago ( 8.6.2 ) ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK, that's the main plan for this dungeon. With no Wood or Dark orbs, the odds of high combos is good. My team worked. Leader: Divine Law Goddess, Valkyrie Rose (5 awakenings) Awoken Zeus (1 awakening) Two Pacifying Yomi Goddess Izanami (Fully awoken) Dancing Mad Kefka (not awoken but had +107) Friend: Seraph of Corruption, Lucifer. I know the Dark Attributes are useless, but Izanami's damage reduction, 5000 autoheal and over 28,000 HP make up for it, plus the water and fire attributes can still attack. Valkyrie's 3x attack boost for God types really helps. Sweep the first and second floor. Stall on the third. Wipe out the Light Ogre with a Hyperdrive or Morningstar, stall on the second ogre. Use Izanami's damage reduction if things get hairy. Boss battle, whittle him down to about 30% while stalling to get all skills up. At 30%, wipe him out with Zeus' Wrath of God, then Morningstar, then Hyperdrive. 0 By Squid#79919 5 years ago ( 8.6.2 ) I don't have really have a good team that doesnt' use either wood or dark, so I ran this on legend.... 6 times. Boss never dropped. Do yourself a favor and just run Mythical. Let's say we have a 40% drop rate.
How confident do you want to be that you will get one? To have a 100% chance of catching one, you would have to play an infinite number of times. Obviously not possible, given the 24 hr cycle. Even if you swept the dungeon every five minutes, spent stones like the biggest whale out there to restore your stamina, you could still, in theory, not get a drop.
So 100% is impossible. And to be at least 95% sure you'll catch one, you have to plan on 6 runs. Even then, you'll fail 1 out of twenty times. It's harder to figure out your chances of catching at least one than the chances of not catching one, and since those are the only two options (none vs one or more), we can subtract the probability of getting zero from 100% to see the probability of catching at least one. Assuming you haven't played it yet, the math works out like this:
At 1 run, you have a 60% chance of not catching, so 40% chance of catching at least one.
Since the runs of the dungeon are independent, you simply multiply the probabilities together, so for 2 runs, you take the 0.60 * 0.60 and you get 0.36, which means you have a 64% chance of catching at least one. (inside there is a 16% chance of catching two, but hey, that's still at least one, right?)
3: 0.36 * 0.6 = 0.216, so 21.6% chance of catching nothing and a 78.4% chance of catching at least one.
4: 0.216 * 0.6 = 0.1296, so 87.14% chance of catching at least one.
5: 0.1296 * 0.6 = 0.07776, a 92.224% chance.
This is how many times you ran it. Based on these numbers, nearly 1 out of every ten people who run this dungeon 5 times will catch nothing but chests. Not all that far out of the realm of possibility.
Let's take KOudbw's issue of ten runs and still no catch:
0.6 * 0.6 * 0.6 * 0.6 * 0.6 * 0.6 * 0.6 * 0.6 * 0.6 * 0.6 is just over 0.006, which means that 6 out of a thousand times that you run it 10 times in a row, you will catch nothing. Granted, he says 'like over 10 times', so maybe it was more than that.
The problem we usually run into as humans is assuming that it will happen the next time. But since they are independent, having missed 9 times does not mean we have a 99.4% chance of catching him on that tenth run. It's still just 40%. The reason is that missing 9 times and then catching is a little more unlikely than missing ten times.
I'm sure someone has posted these figures somewhere, but figured it might be helpful.
I've thought about making a calculator to let you figure out how many times you ought to run a dungeon to catch at least X copies of a given monster with Y% confidence, but the numbers got too big for javascript. Maybe just need one for catching 1.
