In normal dungeons, rare monsters have approximately a 2-5% drop rate based on player experience. The rate may be slightly higher for harder difficulty tiers. For end game bosses, the estimated drop chance per difficulty is: Mythical 100%, Legend 100% ( 40% If a Mythical Dungeon is available ), Master ~40%, Expert ~5%, Adept ~2%. |

Credit to ViewtifulGene from the PAD Forums. His post here: http://puzzleanddragonsforum.com/threads/de-traumatizing-nordis-with-curious-greek-waifus.90018/ To summarize: APanda//UuvoPanda/Hanzo/Zuoh/AAma//APanda 1 - 5-orb match 2 - Row match 3 - Can stall a bit if you used actives, kill without actives. One tpa sweeps. 4 - Row match 5 - Stall if needed. 8-pack plus row to sweep green, 8-pack to sweep light. 6 - Spend a turn or two to set-up, then 8-pack plus a few off color combos. 7 - 8-pack plus a couple combos to break def. 8 - 8-pack plus row. You should have a couple turns to finish if that wasn't enough. 9 - Stall floor. Heal during shield, attack during no-shield. Can stall all day here. * 10 - Bind Clear, then hit with Zuoh-Panda or Zuoh-Hanzo. *Note RE floor nine. Keep in mind when his actives loop, he does two attacks in a row. Didn't have a dark attribute monster and ended up getting killed by a normal attack pre-emptive i didn't know was coming. Not sure if he does that if no dark attribute monster exists or if his normal attack will kill you. EDIT: never mind. it was at the bottom of the page and i didn't see it... It gets old with all the hate. -2 nathan@N17#37737 6 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) Of course i get downvoted for pointing out the place where it describes how it works -3 nathan@N17#37737 6 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) Right above floor one it will give a description of how it works 1 By Sir Kyle#67208 6 years ago ( 8.4.1 ) After many attempts, I finally had success with: Awoken Minerva Lead Hypermax Ronia Hypermax Ronia Phoenix Rider, Valen Shinra Sun God Apollo Awoken Shiva Friend Lead General strategy is to TPA, 6+ combo, and conserve skills, but depending on skyfalls you may need to use Minerva as needed, with Apollo acting as a "safety net" for one of the first 8 floors if you can't put out enough damage otherwise. Ronia needs to hit combos, not rows, to activate Shiva's LS. Minerva's LS will halve all light damage and make the end survivable, so take advantage of that on Floors 5, 9, and 10. Valen's shield active reduces damage by 1/3 for 4 turns, so get it out if you know you need to tank. Floors 1-4: TPA and hit red, stall on 1 or 3 if you need to to get skills up. Floor 5: Light is easier, simply grind down with red combos. For green, since you do double damage, be careful not to knock into the <20% range or she'll 1 hit KO you with her -100% hp skill. Floor 6: You get 3 'free' turns here. Use 1 Ronia right off that bat with combos, not rows; this should knock him below 50% and hopefully not kill him. This gives you 2 more turns to stall for the Ronia skill and hit with regular combos. Use Minerva if you're unsure about your damage output. Floor 7: This will somewhat rely on luck; you need to conserve your Ronia and, if possible, Apollo. Use Shiva to break their defense, but since the team is dominantly fire, you need 147,895 damage to take out the water dragon. One TPA with a 7+ combo is about the bare minimum; if you still have Minerva, make more reds before using Shiva or use Apollo to double your damage. Floor 8: Use your Ronia, with combos not rows, and Apollo for an insta-kill. Without Apollo, it's still doable. Deploy Valen to ease the damage while it's green, combo hearts, and activate Ronia while it's still green but before your shield wears off. Floor 9: Stall for skills by comboing hard and getting hearts. Try to pop your reds during its 'shield' phase to give yourself more turns. Recovery can be an issue, but try to save your Valen shield; you need it for floor 10. Floor 10: This is the meat and potatoes. Your Ronias get bound right off the bat, so shucks. Combo hard, because you need as many heats flowing in as possible. Deploy your Valen shield on your second turn to ease the pain. Use Minerva to clear up some extra orbs if dark and red are mixed up. If you survive your Ronia binds, pop one, engage Apollo, and put Shiva to work. This will hopefully knock the big nasty below 50%, where he'll waste his turn to remove your last turn of shield. Use your other Ronia immediately, because he's now in the green and Minerva's leader skill won't prevent you from dying. I hit a perfect 10 combo board with one skyfall, which was enough to finally make it all worthwhile. Final levels on Floor 10: Minerva 67, Ronias 36, Valen 96, Apollo 91, Shiva 61. If you had duel N.1845 youd have x9 for dragons and roughly 50% resist from everything in this descended. The subs wouldnt even need to be rem heavy if you put things like sonia gran and defound on the team. My only concern at first was dealing with Shining Dragon if he shows up in Fl5, but I was able to stall out the leader bind while healing every turn no problem (got lucky with heart drop). How could you burst down threedia and the boss with water < wood and your team only being like lvl 50 0 By Noel#73420 6 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) i managed to beat this with this set up: awoken leilan gzl l. meta rodin ares awoken leilan it's really easy to stall on nordis with dual awoken leilan. my friend's awoken leilan was hypermaxed and both leilan's were max skilled. l. meta wasn't max skilled but it would help a ton with recovery. as long as you save up gzl for the final form of nordis and you don't get horribly orb trolled then it's doable. i managed to get lucky on the last floor cause i activated gzl and was able to do three fire rows with my leilan active and got 7 combos (with skyfall) and one shotted him. 0 Noel#73420 6 years ago ( 8.1.1 ) also try to bring nordis down to around 50% and not risk failing to one shot him like me xD 0 By Jayks#68342 6 years ago ( 8.4.1 ) Ra Dragon works surprisingly well for this dungeon despite not being able to level up all that much. Ra Dragon, DKali, DKali, Dzanami, and Awoken Isis or B/G Sun Quan with Ra Dragon friend. My team didn't have a lot of pluses, but all were max skilled, leveled, and awoken. One Sakuya gravity can be used to clear Threedia's bind or to soften up F9 (can't use all gravities on Nordis as you want to keep him Light attribute). Nordis's first form gives you a couple turns to find a good activation with a dark TPA, so you shouldn't need to use any Kali actives. Going into his final form you should have at least one Kali active and 2 gravities: 1 Sakuya gravity + Hades gravity puts him at 60% health, then just one-shot him from there using a Kali (if needed) and +5 orb seconds. I had close to 800 plusses on this team, but they were mostly on Sakuya and LKali and contributed very little to damage. With an 11 combo (8 matched), Hades actually did enough damage to one-shot Nordis on his own and he had 0 plusses. DIza active should be enough to survive against Threedia's Rake even with no plusses, though they definitely help a lot with survivability in general with the reduced levels. 0 By Kirito#46338 6 years ago ( 8.4.1 ) I wonder why no one has suggested a pandora build with sleeping beauty to clear the dark bind on the last floor. To me, I would say it is actually an wise choice to use Pandora here in a dungeon where most floors are light att. without dmg reduction to dark. It is pretty doable if you can find a way to deal with the dark bind on last floor, like you said, sleeping beauty, or maybe Isis, or even Aamir. I also don't have any experience running the team, so I wasn't sure if I would have enough actives to sustain me through bursting Threedia and both forms of Nordis back to back (even worse if you go into Threedia without all actives up). 0 By Adiaos#53896 6 years ago ( 8.4.1 ) This dungeon seems "scary" when I have the first look at it, but I finally did it last night. I suggest two teams here, I have cleared it with both teams myself. Team.1 Leaders: A.Yomi x A.Yomi(only friend hyper maxed) Subs: A.Haku(max SL) A.Isis(hyper maxed) Moon Dragon Caller Satsuki(max SL) D/G Persephone(SL 6) This team runs pretty smoothly if you are used to A.Yomi team. Only a few things need to pay attention to. If you got green knight on floor5, either one shot him b4 he put his green absorb up, or wait it out, he will one shot you if u put him below 20%(I died here once XD). For boss floor, use Isis(use on FIRST turn coz he has a chance to delay your skill, and it goona be disaster with this team's Rcv to stall), take a hit, and boom(5+3 dark orbs will be enough to kill). Team.2 Leaders: A.Ra x A.Ra(both hyper maxed) Subs: Lubu(no skill-up, +297) A.Isis(hyper maxed) L.Kali(hyper maxed) L.Kali(no skill-up, +0; this is the wild card slot, but unbindable dark or double light TPA prefered) Lubu is the super-star on boss floor. He resisits the dark bind, his 2.5 mutiple applys to both Ra and Isis and himself. If you have more than 6 dark orbs in the final combo, Lubu gonna eats more than half of boss's hp, alone. Nothing special need to mention here, just roll as a normal A.Ra team. And yeah, his Ra team isn't the standard LKali/LKali/DKali/AIsis team but when I say generic I mean that BOdin and Bastet are generic subs with good stats and awakenings that you're not surprised to see on a Ra team. Awoken Ra (light/red) Light Kali (light/red) Halloween Kali (dark/light) Sun Quan (blue/green) Lu Bu (dark/red) Awoken Ra (light/red) Lu Bu resists the skill bind, and using him on the last floor gave all my devils a +2.5x attack which overcomes the 50% light/green resist as well as the bind on Hkali (-20% net damage). It's not about who has what subs, it's simply that Ronia and Ra are in completely different tiers as leaders. I guess I don't really follow the meta/know what "the best" is. I just post what works for me... I don't have any other Kali's so I fill, you're correct. To that end though, some very difficult "Special"/Challenge dungeons coming out/out have new mechanics that require more utility than offensive power (though that doesn't really apply here). So I find myself hand picking most teams for certain situations. Generally teams are based on active skills/awakenings/color combos that specifically counter what I'm up against. When I post anything I want to highlight that. Again, I guess I made a misstep here because this dungeon is generally just blast through. Aside from the occasional target bind you need to watch out for and the level up feature, it's not terrible unique. Thanks for the info, I'll be more descriptive next time. Everyone on the team except Batman will get bound. -2 Pretty simple really. Batman, dark valk, persephone, awoken haku (though i just swapped her for batmobile) and awoken ama. Everything is extremely easy and use batman whenever you need to combo for orbs. I've tried it twice and get orb trolled on boss because i have to use too many actives on threedia or whatever his name is. It usually takes me two hits to kill (one with batmobile).
