In normal dungeons, rare monsters have approximately a 2-5% drop rate based on player experience. The rate may be slightly higher for harder difficulty tiers. For end game bosses, the estimated drop chance per difficulty is: Mythical 100%, Legend 100% ( 40% If a Mythical Dungeon is available ), Master ~40%, Expert ~5%, Adept ~2%. |

If the Red Dragon Pirate's Black Bird lasts only 3 turns, and can be used only once, then could it be possible to stall it out with good recovery, and Protector Robe Odin? After the dragon changes to blue, he has a multi-shot attack which Odin+Megalodran couldn't block sufficiently. You'd need a major kill weapon or hell of a lot of healing. I think double Megalodran can probably do it, if you have enough firepower and healing to back them up. You'll have to watch out for the bind devils though, if they bind both Megalodrans you're in trouble. At expert level, if you have at least 2000 healing per turn,you can just muscle it, but you won't get much. Used max skill Siren for emergencies (bart feeds you fire orbs every turn, so that helps), a Raphael for dire emergencies, Hades for gravity, and the best light, non-red nukers I had since orbs won't do squat for damage (in this case, Odin and Lightning Holy Dragon). Got dicey on his last 10k HP or so since every red replace seemed to target my hearts--actually had to use a second Raphael, leaving me defenseless if I slipped or the drops went south.
