8 By ?#38648 7 years ago ( 7.1.2 ) 4 of these, and you'll be able to take on any light monster/boss! 0 Xaeleth#59027 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 ) Or you could just use one + Hera-Beorc 0 SymptumX#3516 in reply to Xaeleth#59027 6 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) isn't this right? why is it getting downvoted? 0 Tony#37833 6 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) It's too bad that we can't bring this into Sandalphon. I hate that Raphael. lol 0 邓 -ALAN- 洋#42705 in reply to Tony#37833 6 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) Bring a Thanatos with you. The elemental are more useful than you think. 0 By Side_#42063 7 years ago ( 7.1.2 ) you think it'd be yellow cuz it's light 2 They stack additively. All the resist awokens on a single mob add up. Across different subs they also add up. Proof of concept: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pJiqy5OrW0 Similar to how row enhances stack additively. 1 The awakenings alone make him infinitely superior. 20% light damage reduction. With 5 of these on a team, you completely nullify light damage. 0 Dylan#30452 7 years ago ( 7.1.2 ) There is a yellow version. http://www.puzzledragonx.com/en/monster.asp?n=219 I don't know why they felt the need to make a black one though. He's almost the exact same monster. 0 well the name IS reverse-holy sky dragon Shangrila, wasn't expecting it to be complete slick black though... maybe just the wings? 0 nathan@N17#37737 6 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) They're all "dark" of their counterparts. But yeah you'd think there'd be more white or yellow association 0 Char@PF#12562 7 years ago ( 7.1.2 ) It's from Puzzle and Dragons Z, they have a monster like this in it 0 Abilities that block damage are multiplicative, but the awakens do a flat % damage reduction. There is a Japanese video on YouTube of a run with 100% wood resist in the Tri-Fruit dungeon. Link is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pJiqy5OrW0 0 Good news. With the recent update, each resist awoken is now 5% instead. So this guy gives you an auto 25% resist meaning you'd only need four of these. Too bad I can't do this dungeon or I'd be all over this. 0 Sorry, but that is wrong. They are additive, in the same way that skill charge is. Five skill charge would reduce CD by 5 turns. Five light resist each provide 5% resist for a total of 25%. If it were multiplicative, the more you have the less it would protect you because it is a fraction, or decimal... .05 × .05 = 0.0025 or only one-quarter of 1%. Sometimes, in our quest to be great players and help others, we overthink it all, but here the math is simple. -12 0 By Cr0wn3d#47889 6 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) Since awoken Minerva, ceres, or Neptune give 50% reduction to light damage, if you sub 2 of these, would you get 100% damage reduction or 50% reduction off the 50% reduction Minerva, Ceres and Neptune give? 0 Tirrinz#62653 6 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) I believe it would give you 75% resistance. I'm pretty sure awokens are additive and Leader skills are multiplicative. So say a light monster does 1000 damage to you. The leader skill activates and the damage is now 1000 * 0.5 = 500. Then the 10 awokens kick in and the damage is recalculated to 500 * (1 - 10 * 0.05) = 250. If you ran two leaders with 50% resistance and sub two of these, the 1000 damage becomes (1000 * (0.5)^2) * ( 1 - 10 * 0.05) = 125 damage. thus giving you an 87.5% resist to light damage. Sub three of these and you get a 93.75% Resistance. However, if you sub four of these then the leader skills become redundant, since the (1 - 10 * 0.05) portion becomes (1 - 20 * 0.05) = 0, so that 1000 damage becomes 1000*0=0 damage. 0 Whew Tirrinz! Love the math! It was talk like that in the 70's that first got me interested in computers! Huzzah! |
