4 By JasoniPod#53691 6 years ago ( 7.3.0 ) There have been a lot of monsters added lately with active skills that randomly spawn an x number of one or two orb types, and that got me thinking: What if a LEADER skill had this effect? For example, if Sarasvati got an ultimate or a buff with a change to her leader skill, it might look something like this: Leader Skill: Blessed Water Peac0ck Effect: All attribute cards ATK x5 when reaching 3 sets of Water combos. Randomly spawn one water orb (at the end of the player's turn) upon successful orb clearing. To clarify, the additional part I added will only activate if you made at least one combo during your turn. So, if you were to run a team lead by two Sarasvatis, you would randomly spawn two water orbs after your combo ends (assuming you are meeting the aforementioned condition). As a result, you'll have two more water orbs to begin your next turn which may conveniently already be matched for you (unless an enemy's skill affecting orbs activates). I think this idea is quite interesting because it suddenly makes Sarasvati marginally easier to activate, and will certainly boost her use and effectiveness in normal, non-orb restricted dungeons. Also, with more water orbs present, it might be more viable to have subs with actives that do something other than change orbs! This buff will not make Sarasvati "overpowered" or "broken", but will certainly make her overall usefulness in all dungeons more comparable to that of the other 5X multiplier leaders. Perhaps this leader skill buff, or a similar variation, can be applied to and be a defining feature of all the Indian 2.0 gods (save for Ganesha, perhaps). Your thoughts on this matter? Edit: Actually, maybe this can just be a buff to their active skills which are fairly underwhelming for the most part. Last edited by JasoniPod 6 years ago ( 7.3.0 ) 0 There are drawbacks. If you organize the board to prep for an attack in several turns, that extra orb could mess you up. 0 Gungho: Hey there, we herd u liek orb trolling.... 2 By Freddy#34435 7 years ago ( 7.1.1 ) Just rolled her yesterday. She looks pretty good overall, but I'm having an issue with her active. Sure 10% isn't terrible and it's for 3 turns. But, I feel like it should be like 20% for 3 turns or 10% for 5. Plus the CD is just too much, even maxed out (which won't happen for awhile anyways until we get farmable fodder). 1 Red#74682 6 years ago ( 8.0.4 ) I wish the active was better too, but man, she's still such a bomb. I hope they give us the 2 orbs from the JP skill sometime soon. 1 By polo2005#33233 7 years ago ( 7.2.2 ) Thinking about putting together a Sarasvati team, was thinking something like this: http://goo.gl/KR6nId Think it would be worth replacing fenrir with andromeda? 1 By greml1n#39494 6 years ago ( 8.0.1 ) Just pulled her, andromeda and Karin in the same Godfest... I guess the RNG really wants me to build a mono blue team... Threw some junk together just to try her out and even unevolved she is a stone cold killer. Pretty excited to see a fully built team. 0 By qwerty#39279 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) 0 By Nev#47629 7 years ago ( 7.1.1 ) I rolled her this morning in the REM. Tested her out on Endless Corridors with a pretty lame team of orb changers, but the only water ones I had: Sarasvati - L4 Crystal Aurora Dragon - L27 Torrential Fenrir Knight, Kamui - L20 King of Toyoma Bay, Amberjack - L22 Banishing Claw Byakko, Haku - L70 Max Lv. Odin helper None of my monsters had skill ups, and are obviously mostly low level. I made it to level 42 before I did not have any more skills to make enough water orbs to activate the leader skill and died on synced demons. All in all, while I have other leaders that better fit how I like to play the game, this could definitely be a formidable leader in certain special technical dungeons with the right subs. 0 By Uhryks#40751 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) I want her pretty badly, I already have a lot of water cards and the 5x multiplier... *_* 0 Tony#37833 7 years ago ( 6.5.5 ) Indeed, she looks ridiculous and with her skill boosts among other skill boost water monsters you can get the actives up pretty quickly. 0 By Tony#37833 7 years ago ( 6.5.5 ) She's really strong for just matching 3 sets of water orbs. I'm gonna save up to roll for her and the other gods in this series or maybe I'll wait until america gets the new special god. 0 By dad#35950 7 years ago ( 7.1.1 ) I pulled her and have very heavy blue monster box. I think this has became a highlight of my collection already. If you pulled her add me 0 By Skyknight#11392 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) Translation approximation... Name: Goddess of the Holy Streams, Sarasvati Active: Water Awakening Leader: Peafowl of Sacred Waters 0 By Vic#44126 7 years ago ( 7.1.1 ) Got her and evolved her!! Then I got Pandora after her. Its a good rolling day for me =D Last edited by Vic 7 years ago ( 7.1.1 ) 0 By Ea#30342 7 years ago ( 7.1.1 ) Just made a pretty darn good Andromeda team, but Sarasvati looks somewhat better despite not having rows or two-prong awakenings. 0 By nutmeg#4378 7 years ago ( 7.1.1 ) Just rolled her.. BOdin + her would be pretty sweet for a mono blue team! 3 row enhance awokens for 10% each plus 2.5x ATK! 0 By Ahzathoth#5031 7 years ago ( 7.1.1 ) Would Saras lead, LZL, Blodin, Sig B/L, Siren be a good mid to late game farm team? I have almost got blodin to evo point and I have 2 Saras, LZL is evo'd, and I have sig in Beserk mode still. 0 By Walrus#33273 7 years ago ( 7.1.2 ) I hope her ult evo brings Dual prong attack Awokens. Good for me since I don't have Andromeda but got plenty of orb changers. 0 By Albegas#39029 7 years ago ( 7.2.2 ) Is this a good Sarasvati team? http://www.puzzledragonx.com/en/simulator.asp?q=1333.99.1.0.0.0.4..1208.99.1.0.0.0.4..835.99.1.0.0.0.2..823.99.1.0.0.0.3..1100.99.1.0.0.0.3..1333.99.1.0.0.0.4 1 menelaos#24017 7 years ago ( 7.2.2 ) You're on the right path with packing the team full of orb change. However, IMO, Sara functions best with three 5-turn cats in there, unless your amberjack is max-skilled. She has to eat base nine orbs just to activate, so you will chew through your blue orbs very quickly. Unfortunately, I don't think there is another 5-turn farmable changer available. The orb change options available are: 5-TURN: Kamui Hatsumi Sieg BValk Sharon LONGER: Hermes Gabriel Amberjack BSonia Karin (in tandem with Kamui/Hermes) UmiYama could work here with Kamui/Hermes, prob better to lead them tho :P Awoken Shinji&Eva Unit-01 Amon Blue Ripper Merlin And I may have forgotten a couple. She requires a moderate amount of skill, but a decent amount of skill-downs and skill-boosts. That being said, she's super fun to run. 0 Fenrir is the only blue orb changer I have in need of skill ups, I also have a Megalodran but I believe that Siren is better, sadly the only ninjas I have are are green and light so no Hatsumi. I do have an Amon I'm trying to skill up but RNG has not been kind to him. Last edited by Albegas 7 years ago ( 7.2.2 ) 0 By Minori#44541 7 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) Her leader skill is really unsustainable. Clearing a full board gives 5 water orbs on average and this only increases to 5.75 with her skill active. So you have to rely on fast orb changers if you want consistent activation, but you're already stuck with two relatively weak active skills from your 2x Sarasvati leaders. For the most part, a Lakshmi 9x team will outclass Sarasvati 25x simply from not needing to burn 9+ water orbs every time you need to do damage. With rows and Lakshmi's orb enhance, you aren't even doing that much less damage when you burst. 0 Davvinchi#29456 6 years ago ( 7.3.0 ) I agree that while it is hard to burn 9 blue orbs in three sets to activate every turn, if you are using her in a dungeon where you can stall and use her as a finishing move for a boss I could see her being great, or especially in situations where the boss you are fighting changes orbs to blue :) edit: I hope they give her leader skill an option boost like "activates when either 3 sets of blue or 2 sets of blue and one set of hearts are cleared" for her ult. similar to how they boosted Durga. Last edited by Davvinchi 6 years ago ( 7.5.1 ) 0 By El Rayo#25260 6 years ago ( 7.3.0 ) Just pulled this and i am super excited! Just wish I had her when her skill up dungeon was still active. Guess I'll wait when it comes to the coin dungeon rotation. Man I need a blue Valk so bad lol. For several of my builds. Buster Siegfried is gonna get some action in the mean time. And Amberjack has found a new home!! 0 By KingStuff#64421 6 years ago ( 7.3.0 ) I keep her around for Weekend Dungeons with an Andromeda sub. I have one friend with another Sarasvati and I had some good times. 0 By KizzMusick#71502 6 years ago ( 7.5.1 ) Just got her from Godfest today. Not sure if I should evolve her or not...her non-evolved has higher rank score... 0 By Firecat#58325 6 years ago ( 7.5.1 ) People severely underrate this card. With the proper subs...that being things like Andro/Water Valk/Hitome/I&I/Skuld she is an absolute monster. The active skill, once max skilled, means you have it up 100% of the time assuming your friend leader is also max skilled and 15% is actually a larger percentage than you'd think. Suddenly water orbs fall from the sky in huge amounts. Combined with the proper subs she suddenly activates her LS pretty much every turn. The 5x damage is actually a little misleading in just how much damage it does. Do you remember how much damage Sakuya or any other color lead does when you activate their LS on top of 3x3 combos of their main attribute? It is ALOT of damage and unlike those leads Sarasvati is almost assured to be running a mono water team. She absolutely tears things up. She is very very able to clear legend plus dungeons. She just happens to be very REM heavy. 0 By OmastarBC#39392 6 years ago ( 8.0.1 ) I can't decide whether to go Row or TPA based for her. Decisions decisions. -1 By Eleven#30475 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 ) This is the most op leader i think, other multiplier needs different colors so the team's damage is spread out into different colors where for this team you can have all water, and concentrate the power, with powered up water damage, each member in this team should easily get over 500k damage -2 By ciski77#31021 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) Saraswati leader + Bonia + Hatsume + Aldebaran = full enhanced water board x 5. Want her. 6 寒天#33974 7 years ago ( 6.5.5 ) You'll have to rely on two skyfall water matches, so you're better off not using hatsume. -2 By kaze@d2jsp#18495 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) LS:water streaming peac0ck LOL AS:water's natural awakening name: water stream goddess,Sarasvati Last edited by kaze@d2jsp 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) -4 By cles@hime#62354 7 years ago ( 7.2.2 ) the active is broken when maxed at max takes 10 turns with 2 sara as leader you get 4 skill boost meaning it only takes 6 turns to charge and it last 3 turns meaning you can loop the skill eternally with just 2 sara in the situation if you dont have max skill adding a 3 awake Hermes gives 2 skill boost and blue odin has 3 skill boost meaning the effect can be achived even without max skills i personally add the water ninja in my team for drop change and 1 skill boost 0 DKnight#59554 6 years ago ( 7.5.1 ) Skill boosts only work at the start of the dungeon. They reduce the counter on the first skill used but not the next usage. (Ex. A 5 turn orb changer like Gigas can be up immediately if you have 5 or more Skill Boost awakenings on your team, but after that first usage, you'll still need to wait 5 turns to use again.) So you can increase the chance of blue orbs roughly 2/3 of the time with two max skill Saravatis after the first usage, not 100% continuously. 0 Actually, you can benefit from Sarasvati AS 100% of the time. You need 2 Sarasvati max skill and 5 skill boost, so that they're up turn 1. Then : - Activate Sarasvati. Lasts 3 turns. - 3 turns later, activate 2nd Sarasvati. Lasts 3 turns. - 3 turns later (3 + 3 = 6 turns from first activation), your 1st Sarasvati is up again, activate her. Lasts 3 turns. - 3 turns later (3 + 3 = 6 turns from second activation), your 2nd Sarasvati is up again, activate her. Lasts 3 turns. - infinite loop is on. 0 Maybe six months ago the skill had a longer CD.... -6 By chax#39115 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) Recently, I've been using her on my JP account, and she has a huge downside: 12 water orbs is near impossible to proc every turn or even every 2 or 3 turns reliably. A decent end-game or strong team with her as leader will rely heavily on orb changers like Fenrir Knight, Seigfried, Blue Valk, Amon, and Hatsume. Her x5 is actually far inferior to Kirin, mainly because of difficulty of use and the need for many max skill orb changers as subs, where Kirin can stack up on utility subs and already has a gravity active skill. Skills like Karin's, Andromeda's, Blonia's, U&Y's, Haku's, or Hermes' would be needed, max skilled preferably, to make her useable in descends. That being said, she still has huge damage potential and is a very viable endgame leader, and will probably get a really good ult. 7 AHL#44896 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) if I understand correctly it says 3 water combos or above so that would mean a minimum of 9 water orbs not 12 4 it's because nearly all teams do poorly if you don't have useful subs, especially when attempting endgame content might as well go on the kirin page and say she's unreliable when you don't have a blue attribute 2 nathan@N17#37737 7 years ago ( 7.1.1 ) I'm just going to add that it has not been an issue in the past for people to use multiple of combos with the same color... (like most valk teams. Watch any video and you'll see it's actually so easy to activate) and you know....it helps if you clear the board and don't just do one combo at a time to get orbs 1 nathan@N17#37737 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 ) I also want to add that pandora is literally one of the most descend shredding person in this game (if not the best)...she requires alot of orbs too, and in a row (technically only 6 will work but you get the point. You want the ×16) and that's not easy nor is it handed to you. You have to match offset colors to get dark orbs and you would be wise to have at least one 5 turn orb changer and it would be im your best interest to start skilling people up....also if you have this card you might wanna fish around in the water gala and any godfest that carries what you want (hermes comes to mind). I'm assuming blonia would be the absolute best, she would be your boss killer if you could get her. Hatsume is a fairly easy one to skill up and she's 5 turn cooldown (if you can roll her). And there's nothing wrong with a little bit of siegfried and megalodran (spellcheck). Great amount of forced water orbs every 5 with them. Easiest to max and easy to get. I wish I had her, I have most of what I mentioned.....actually I believe I have them all lol good luck 0 Are you serious! ? Please tell me this comment is a joke!? Are u being sarcastic? ! Grodin is a terrible choice to pair up with a Ronia or Pandora. If u are serious I would suggest u pair Ronia with another Ronia and work on getting some legit devils . Belial, Shiva, Lu Bu, Persephone, Haku, and more farmable subs like Hera, Hera UR,Hellfire Pyro Demon, Hell Dark Blood demon, and of course a king Baddie. You can also use a Jester Dragon in there. 0 Yeah, it's not that hard. There are a ton of good orb changers anyway. My saravasti team has torr Fenrir, hatsume, karin, and I.I, with alternate subs listed below. there is a ton of low cd water monsters so making your 3 pack is really easy. Not to mention her L'S is NOT element only. Any card you put in gains the 5x boost. She is a beast and I wish more friends had her so I could benefit from her 25x more often. She even gives you skill boosts to help with cd, a timer extend and orb enhance...If u can't pull together 3 combos u should really rethink your approach. Sharon, valk, hermes, merlin, chibi karin (has 3 orb enhance, )super girl has excellent synergy..I mean really...I could keep going but I HOPE you get the picture. Not to mention ultimate evo still to come.... Last edited by Prospero 6 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) 0 For one thing, you don't have to get her 25x on every single wave of guys. She can nuke anything out of existence when you do, though. I prefer her to rainbow teams, personally. I find that matching 9 waters isn't really that hard. Especially on tricolor, I mean, come one. -2 Sheep#23644 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) Out of curiosity, why is this being downvoted? This is a pretty informed overview on Sarasvati. I just pulled one of her on my JP alt, and I have to say that she's difficult to activate even in tricolor dungeons, if you don't have enough orb changers. -2 Down votes because apparently you cant even get 9 orbs in a tricolor......lol that is ridiculous. And the person below you makes no god d@mn sense, using a friend grodin when you're using pandora? I wonder why you can't win. How about using a friend pandora? -mind blown- -3 Ferracene#23658 7 years ago ( 7.1.1 ) I feel ya chax. I pulled Red Sonia AND Pandora and was nothing but disappointed. I mean, no matter who my friend's leader is (I typically use GrOdin) I just can't clear any descends. You think with a team of maxed out Yomi, Echidna, Jester Dragon, Leviathan and Tyrannos I'd be able to sweep everything, but not with these worthless "leader" cards! But then again, sometimes you need to know when to use the right subs. It's why I use Ronia and Pandora as subs on my Grape Dragon team... |
