2 By Greg!#39904 7 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) It seems like the Heroes of the Three Kingdoms series is going to get the two-ultimate-evolutions treatment, wherein one Ultimate gets a superior Leader Skill but maintains the Awoken Skills, and the other gets way superior Awoken Skills, but maintains the Leader Skill (just like the Chinese Gods). I wonder what kind of treatment Lu Bu is going to get...Double (or triple) Dark Row Enhance? Skill Bind Resist? Who knows!! I'm freaking excited!! 0 Haku-Ku-Ku#17488 6 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) I wouldn't get too excited - Liu Bei's leader skill was so broken in a way the others would not. Who knows what GH will do but it's not a given. 0 Skyknight#11392 6 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) On the more mundane side, one of Liu Bei's versions is Dragon, the other God. I'm wondering if this will be maintained for the others (i.e. Sun Quan and Xiaoqiao will have God/Healer and Dragon/Healer ultimates, Cao Cao God/Attacker and Dragon/Attacker, Lu Bu God/Devil and Dragon/Devil) 0 ... And my Horus is not. But to improve DQXQ's LS, they'd probably do what they did to his LS and give a higher multiplier for more colors. -3 Luci#30259 6 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) Lubu i think is : 3.5x attack when under 50% hp, 3.3x atk when under 99% hp, 3x attack when hp is full. About DQXQ : 4.5x attack when matching 5 orbs or 1.2x attack when above 6 combos, or simply a small boost to hp and rcv of healer. 1 By James#58868 7 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) sigh. they shouldve gave this artwork the 3 prongs treatment, not the other way around. 2 Zanmorn#55380 6 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) I think it fits. This has a more detached, leader-esque feel, while the other is more "in your face", perfect for a sub. Plus, there's the typing too: this one fits the god type, while the other fits the dragon type. 1 Chinny#61703 7 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) I'd love that too, but then this would have been the most broken green lead ever. 0 Samyaza#67525 5 years ago ( 8.6.2 ) With the new JP Awakenings and his better LS and stats, I think this evolution will become more useful. The dragon killer will be nice for a few dungeons, and the HP boost really helps keep his leader skill activated. Additionally, I think the skill bind resist will also prove to be quite invaluable when making teams with him as a leader. Unfortunately though, due to the three TPA's on the other evolution I think this evo will still continue to be outclassed as a sub--except perhaps in an extremely dragon-heavy dungeon. 0 By Realz#60991 7 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) this guy is a leader the other is a sub lucky me i got 2 liu bei's sitting in my box 0 By Xcadrill#51465 7 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) His subs are rather limited if he's going with rows. The only Green Attackers with Rows are: Marine Rider(REM) Hellwind Taur Demon(Terrible stats and active) Sasuke(REM) Mari&Eva08(Evangelion REM) Gaia(Cost Restrict Descend) AA Michael(REM) Astaroth(REM) Kano(Pink REM) Wonder Woman(DC REM) Green Wizard Leeza(REM) Griffin And of course, another Liu Bei(REM) With exactly 3 farmable options (One of which is terrible, the other of which has cost restrict) you really can't build a good row-based team without heavy IAP. I'm hoping there will be 2-prongs added later... Last edited by Xcadrill 6 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) 0 dusz3k@PF#30155 6 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) And the Samurai dragon? He's awesome, I use him on my GZL team all the time. 0 No rows. Considering the lack of other options, he's a decent sub for Liu Bei, but still has no rows. 0 By Bibbo#14085 6 years ago ( 7.3.0 ) Seems like more people are preferring the Fire Ultimate Evolution just for the triple TPA awakenings. Can anyone argue a good reason to go for this one instead? (Ignoring the difficulty of getting the evo materials, which I have for both) 1 bunker931#18541 6 years ago ( 7.3.0 ) This one has a better leader compared to the other one. But the point of this is pairing with Mighty Dragon General, Zhao Yun. lead to have "All attribute cards HP x1.5, ATK x2.5, RCV x1.5 when Guardian Divine Emperor, Liu Bei in the same team." 0 By epharian#68164 6 years ago ( 7.3.0 ) KIRIN SUB? YES. I don't see a lot of love for that combo, but since he deletes the exact orbs that kirin can't activate her LS on, it's a nice addition. If I had two, the other one would be nice, but as a Kirin sub the light/green helps a ton. 0 By Pweebuser#60178 6 years ago ( 7.5.1 ) This goes pretty well with an attackerasu lead, and leilan attacker sub to make a tricolor attacker team 0 By Ricochet#73060 6 years ago ( 8.0.1 ) I had 2 Liu Bei and Restrained the first one. Left the other neglected in my box because Ronia took my next batch of dragon fruits. Since the materials aren't as difficult to acquire for this form, I went ahead and evolved it. I can always go back later if I want, but I might keep it around. The extra .5 attack and HP boost compared to the other form's leader skill can sometimes be useful, as well as the God typing for different team builds. I have Avalon Drake and 2 Guan Yu's sitting around as well. Will probably grab an Athena at some point, and there is probably a team in there somewhere. Point is, if you are ever going to reverse an evolution, this one is a good example of getting use out of one form before switching to another later (I haven't had cause to reverse any other evolution as of yet). -1 By Espadas#54574 7 years ago ( 7.2.3 ) Lol for a second there i mistook that tiara thing around his forehead for the crosses of D.Gray Man..... i was thinking "WTF Liu Bei turned into a Noah?!?" Anyway, that LS is really nice.... both his new uevos are really strong in their respective roles. |

Let's also not forget that both Liu Bei and Zhao Yun's actives have powerful offensive components (double orb change and double orb enhance lol) in addition to their heals. LMeta might be better at staying above 50%, but she also has to work that much harder for reliable burst damage.
Considering that most green attackers have decent recovery (hello Michael) but generally lack HP, this ult-evo is exactly what they needed. And in case you need a boost to recovery, you can pair with Susanoo for a very balanced 1.35/10.5/1.35 team. All in all, Gungho really delivered with this one.
