If you have a Tyrra or Tyran, you can feed the flame chimera to that to try to increase its skill level too. This is not really helpful in the long run (because usually the starter dragons get evolved to better dragons with a different skill and you lose the skill-ups) but it doesn't hurt anyway.
On the other hand, if you're at a level where you have to ask this question, you could level it up with about 60k exp and evo it if you have a leader that benefits from attacker subs. Otherwise, I wouldn't hang onto it.
Believe me, I hang on to all kinds of monsters that I don't really need to and have found (for my teams) the chimera to be the most useless. Unfortunately, it gets more painful to use them as fodder once you've pumped a bunch of exp into them so best to get rid of early unless you know you have a use for it. Put it this way, they're pretty dang easy to get more of if you change your mind and want them later lol
"No RCV" = shorthand for "no recovery" (heart) orbs -_~
