3 By kakajiang#35704 7 years ago ( 6.4.3 ) I played the Amethyst Cave 8 times in a row for Amelits, to evolve my Baddies, but not a single Amelit dropped (only 1 even appeared). On my 8th and final attempt the Big Baddie dropped -- what a wonderful surprise! 0 By kingchen#25346 7 years ago ( 6.3.0 ) Where is the best place to farm for these? 2 impa@us#29215 7 years ago ( 6.3.1 ) no where tbh i usually just do the 1st dark dungeon when its 2x drops then i evo it :s Last edited by impa@us 7 years ago ( 6.3.1 ) 2 beep*beep#15645 7 years ago ( 6.4.3 ) Best place to farm is Poring Towers. It doesn't come often, but when it does just spend all your stamina there. Lot of good skill-up material in there. -3 By mark#43080 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) I like Pluto Valley/Cave of the Valley for Baddie and BB. Never had much of a problem with Amelit though. I always target it first and hit with just enough to kill it. Could be because I go MDD in DoD. 4 I'm pretty sure drops are predetermined to a certain extent. I'm not sure when the drops are decided in the game, but I doubt that they are determined upon the death of a monster. 2 ASuislide#43828 7 years ago ( 6.5.2 ) Drops are determined when the dungeon loads from the server. Targeting first has nothing to do with drop rate. Just FYI. 2 targeting is the equivalent of pressing a and b in pokemon, it doesn't actually work, but it makes you think that your'e doing something 0 Drops are NOT loaded from the server (or at least, if they are, there's a bug that can cause a reroll); I once had my phone reboot in the middle of a dungeon just as I was killing the Ancient Blue Sacred Mask in the mythical mask dungeon. It dropped... but when the phone rebooted I was on the previous wave. When I got back to the masks, the green one dropped instead. 0 I had a Haku invade on the Hades floor of Satan not too long ago and my phone rebooted at the boss wave. I had to start over at the beginning of the dungeon. When I got back to Hades, Haku invaded again. Did I just get crazy lucky to get two invades on the same floor in a row? -9 By Cancelled#58352 7 years ago ( 7.1.2 ) 6 Mizuumi#28157 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 ) Here's an idea if you want people to accept your information as truth and not just hearsay or superstition: provide a source. Provide evidence. Provide some other fact than just "it works this way and if you downvote me it's because you hate THE TRUTH!" If there's a thread or video or something somewhere that shows substantial, empirical evidence with hard numbers that show some method to influence drops does or does not work, then LINK IT. "I got exactly the drop i wanted by targeting it and turning the whole board into heart orbs and getting exactly a 7 combo and then reset my phone and said 'GOTCHA!' into the microphone and also my dad works at nintendo and he told me" and whatever else does not count as fact or evidence. If you already have a source, provide it! If you don't, go look for one, I'm sure SOMEBODY out there must be researching this stuff, and if you're so confident you're right then your assumptions should mirror their findings 0 Anne#28951 7 years ago ( 7.2.1 ) Actually, the color of the first combo when you enter a level plays a very large role in determining what will drop. There are a number of rules and which one is in effect can change at any time. Quite frequently it is more beneficial to also target something other than what you want. As stated, you can improve your odds, but they never guarantee you will get what you want. An example of a rule would be that if you want dark, make your first combo light. Sometimes dark works better and sometimes fire works better, especially if there are 2 dark and you want a specific one because it is rarer. You got down voted for the same reason I got down votes the first time I posted this info. You made the assumption that the same rules always apply. There also seem to be days when what I want will not drop, no matter what I try. I obviously haven't figured out the rule that is currently in effect. Either that or the rule that days is wood is going to drop no matter what you do. For a while I thought it was light that always dropped, until I actually needed light, of course. 0 You are absolutely right, Anne and the info regarding the first combo I did fail to mention. And no, taking the first monster doesn't guarantee the drop...only that those chances for that monster will be rolled first. Alas, a 20% is still just a 20% and as I mentioned, the variables change. Even the day and time you go in makes a difference. Unfortunately, we'll never know the exact numbers, but the rules don't change, just the variables do. On those days you're having trouble go to the dungeon info page here. Sometimes they will list the best times to go in.Just a thought. 0 foxwaffles#54418 7 years ago ( 7.2.2 ) I thought drops were predetermined before you entered the dungeon. 0 Eurytus#62746 6 years ago ( 7.5 ) I'm with ya. I've had my phone turn off during a dungeon and it restarted me mid-dungeon or at the beginning, and every time my drops changed. The random spawns did not, though. This leads me to believe drop chances are loaded when you start the dungeon but the actual percentage is either loaded when you enter the floor or when you kill the monster. |
