my dream finally became a reality, unfortunately it came at the expense of him still not being viable for end game content, his artwork is amazing though.....just still a glass cannon

I think the only way to ever use anubis is with a different lead. A 15X atk lead with good hp
and shield would make a decent pairing.

im just a tad bit disappointed, they messed both set and anubis' leader skill up, though anubis is a 40x by hisself which is phenominal, i cant think of any good pairings that arent diablos

A lead pairing that halves damage might do the trick. They usually lack a substantial atk multiplier to make them viable. Anubis definitely has the attack covered.
It wouldn't be viable in late game, except maybe in the single floor gorilla dungeons.

I was actually thinking about using Uranus.

i was thinking of using dragon caller mira, 7x6 board 2xhp and atk for wood and dark, and 4x when attacking with wood and dark, pretty easy 40 x 8 which is 320 atk with 2x hp and 2x recovery is pretty dang good

You could also Leader Swap with Diaochan for the 7x6 board, and still run with someone that isn't Diablos. Although, to be fair, Diablos is the most optimal pairing for Anubis. You could also pair with Shinobu Sensui from YYH Collab

The leader that would make sense to get a +combo bonus on his leader skill doesn't get it ofc.
