King Shynee

This is more of a replacement for Sun Quan. It's not like everyone can pull REM only monsters out of their butt.

It's worth pointing out that King Shynee offers 3x for the first turn and 1x for the second, so either way you've done 4x after two turns.
However, King Shynee is better in combination with other one-shots (e.g. orb changers), while Sun Quan's delay (if not shielded) gives you three attacks (totaling 5x) and 2 skill cooldowns before the enemy counters. So it's pretty situational, but personally I'd rather take King Shynee's upfront blast 90% of the time.

Yeah, assuming the boss doesn't have a shield then its essentially 4x damage (2 turns x 2 damage)

Is spiking just tossing all of your damage at one time? I actually dont know too well, havent been here long and dont know all of the terms yet. I'd prefer the 2 turn bind and 2x healer attack + the slot being occupied by a stronger card. Besides combo stacking damage over 2 attacks at 2 times each sounds pretty good to me. If I'm wrong or you know something I don't I'd appreciate you letting me know. However if I had this and not quan I wouldnt pass this up.

2x damage for 2 turns is still only 2x damage. Wanted to point that out because I don't want you to trick yourself into thinking you're getting more damage than you are.

inb4 Super King Gold Dragon needed

You can farm king golds in the top 6 normal dungeons sets. In you spare time of course :) when you have extra stamina burning a hole in your pocket

Skilling up this is definitely a luxury, but is very useful for descends. This is typically the longest skill on the healer team and is a must for the boss. Once max skilled, it will be up only 2 turns after your echidna, which is very nice.

also most healer teams are mono dual or tri color and you can usually find a level that you can orb stall while healing to make up for the 17 turns

nope, the skills are different, therefore the level doesn't get carried over.

I've only begun farming and evolving slimes to king form in order to skill up.

The way it works is that awoken skills always level up with the same monster (awoken 100% level up). But active skills may or may not level up (around a 25% likelihood that 'skill' will level up). There's also a 100% chance that your King Shynee will have a little red hat with a spike. This may tempt you also to want to wear a little red hat with a spike, but you should think carefully before doing so.
