Elemental of True Death, Thanatos

Does he suck? Sort of. But he has good awakened skills and he has his place. Forget him as a leader. Use him on your devil team when you need to avoid light. For example, he makes it possible to 0 stone Sandalphon with a Red Sonia team.

god this guy is so amazing now. double enhanced orbs, row-enhance and an orb-enhance active. his light absorb is obviously niche but I use him for KoG where it's a godly active to have. oh how I wish I had skilled him up when I had the chance, but he was so weak back then T_T well played GungHo, well played

If this guy was farmable instead of REM, he would make a lot more sense.

A very disappointing REM unit with an even more disappointing ultimate evolution and a leader skill that does not improve from it's initial form. Therefore Thanatos is better suited for sub, although the unit's stats at max lvl are very lack-luster. His active although situational might be useful in light dungeons and against powerful Light-affinity opponents like Valkyrie or Zeus, better serving as a panic button in an all devil (or dark) team or in the absence/substitution of (or paired with) more practical units like Echidna/Orochi.

He's very useful for farming Starlight Sanctuary KoG as along with a delayer, it gives you a lot of time to deal with Zeus before being hit.

All elementals have similar stats/skills and they can be useful in certain situations. People don't seem to understand that not all monsters can be good all-purpose leaders or subs.

Worst REM-only monster ever? Most probably. He urgently needs a upgrade with a improved leader skill, better stats and more usefull awakenings. Because well... He sucks at pretty much everything! (･_･;

They should boost up his stats more...

They really bungled this guys Ulti Evo. Terrible monster, needs a rework or another Ulti Evo that makes this unit better than useless. And 26 cost? Why?

Not too bad to pull for pandora team once the update comes out that gives him dark enhance to orbs with his skill. Not the best but if you pull him and don't have a way to enhance already, it would be a great addition to the team.

God why, just why did I have to sell this guy when I pulled him from the REM thinking I wasn't gonna need him. T^T

I'll never understand why people dump on this guy. This dude as a sub can be the difference in clearing a difficult dungeon if you are struggling getting past a light monster with a heavy attack. Is he a legit leader? No...but he has his uses.

People rate him highly for the same reason people still want Lucifer - they're trapped, mentally, in some old meta game mindset. Get with the program, folks!

Arrggggg when I did a GF roll I thought I was gunna get idunn or lucifer but I get a Thanatos and a dragon knight ANSI thought Thanatos was great!! But nooooo his stats suck and he looks like a girl and isn't Thanatos god of death?!? Y can't he be god/ devil or something?
